About Emma

My name is Emma Butterworth and I’m from Surrey, also in England. I am currently on a gap year before starting at Swansea University in September to study Marine Biology.

I have had a lifelong passion for animals (particularly marine). After volunteering with Marine Dynamics for 6 weeks earlier this year I was glad to be able to accepted onto the Internship.

I believe that the experiences at Marine Dynamics Academy will help to kickstart my career in Marine Biology. I hope to learn a range of valuable practical skills and broadening my knowledge in this field.
