About Rhys

I am currently completing my undergraduate biology degree at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan campus). I grew up exploring the coasts of British Columbia and have gained a fond appreciation of marine life; BC’s coasts are full of bright anemones and colourful temperate reefs.

I plan on pursuing marine biology once I complete my undergraduate degree. The internship at Marine Dynamics Academy is the perfect opportunity to develop field skills to further my carrier as a biologist. I am most excited to gain first-hand experience in shark conservation and research.
