Fishing Line Bins

Marine pollution is a major issue to all coastal areas. Alongside plastics, one of the greatest threats is fishing line, which makes its way into the sea and can harm unsuspecting wildlife. The fishing line bins project was established in Gansbaai by the Dyer Island Conversation Trust, to help encourage the local community to get involved with maintaining the environment.
